Is there a ‘Monday Night Football’ game tonight?

There is NO “Monday Night Football” game for Jan. 30. In fact, there are no more NFL games on Mondays for the remainder of the 2022-23 schedule. The wild-card matchup between the Cowboys and Buccaneers marked the final Monday night game of the season.

Sunday is the only day with which NFL action will occur for the remainder of the season. The Pro Bowl and Super Bowl 57 all take place on Sundays.

While “MNF” may be done for this season, that is not the end of the year for the football crew over on ESPN. The company is set to broadcast the Pro Bowl on Feb. 5, with the All-Star competition set to air live on ABC and ESPN.

Snoop Dogg, the 51-year-old rapper from Long Beach, will captain the AFC squad set to be coached by Peyton Manning, who won Super Bowl titles with the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos.

I’m comin’ back to the NFL field, but this time, instead of performing, I’m going head-to-head with Pete and competing for the title of The Pro Bowl Games Champion,” Snoop Dogg said, according to People.

He previously participated in the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show in Los Angeles. The performance also included Dr. Dre, Eminem and 50 Cent.

Davidson, a 29-year-old comedian from Staten Island, will captain the NFC team with Peyton’s younger brother Eli Manning coaching. The younger Manning also has two Super Bowl wins, both with the New York Giants and against the New England Patriots and Tom Brady.

Pro Bowl 2023 Live

Pro Bowl 2023 Live: This year’s Pro Bowl will look a little different from what fans are used to seeing. Instead of an actual game of tackle (or semi-tackle as it has been in most years), the Pro Bowlers will be partaking in flag football instead. I know some people mocked this but I think it’s a nice alternative to guys barely wanting to tackle in the contact version.

The Pro Bowl also added skills competitions a few years ago and that’ll continue as well. It should also be fun having Peyton Manning coach the AFC team and Eli Manning coaching the NFC team.

Monday Night Football” has become a staple not just in the regular season, but in the early rounds of the postseason, as well. Over the last few years, the NFL has instituted an additional “MNF” game for the playoffs.

The Cowboys and Buccaneers battled to end the wild-card round in the first week of the playoffs. However, that was the final Monday night contest of the season.

Here’s everything you need to know about “MNF” for the 2023 playoffs and where you can watch the rest of the playoffs with the program finished for the season.

Pro Bowl Live Stream

Pro Bowl Live Stream: The NFL Pro Bowl is going to look different this year. Rather than an exhibition game, the league is doing a showcase of sorts, with flag football being the flagship event, so to speak.

When is the 2023 Pro Bowl game?

  • Date: Sunday, Feb. 5
  • Kickoff: 3 p.m. ET

The AFC will be coached by Peyton Manning and the NFC will be coached by Eli Manning. Peyton, of course, spent his career in the AFC with the Broncos and Colts whereas Eli spent his seasons with the Giants in New York.

In addition, the events will be held in Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders. It’s the second year in a row Las Vegas will host the Pro Bowl festivities after it spent four seasons in Orlando’s Camping World Stadium.

The rosters for the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl have been leaking out since Monday with the full reveal coming Wednesday evening. The Philadelphia Eagles had the most selections with eight players (six starters). The Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs were next with seven selections each.

The Pro Bowl is determined by a combination of votes by fans, coaches and players. Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce all received top votes from fans and made their respective teams.

The NFL announced in September that it would no longer play a conventional football game at the Pro Bowl and is instead opting for a rebranded series of events that will include multiple skill competitions in addition to three flag football games. Peyton Manning has been named the AFC coach and will be joined by Hall-of-Famer Ray Lewis as his defensive coordinator and Mexico Women’s Flag National Team quarterback Diana Flores as offensive coordinator. Eli Manning was named the NFC coach alongside DeMarcus Ware as defensive coordinator and U.S. Women’s Flag National Team quarterback Vanita Krouch as offensive coordinator.

Pro Bowl Live

Pro Bowl Live: The 2023 Pro Bowl schedule will happen across two days on Thursday, Feb. 2 and Sunday, Feb. 5. Thursday will feature a plethora of Skills Competition events including the always-fun dodgeball, a new contest called Lightning Round that will test various aspects of athleticism and timing, a golf long drive competition, Precision Passing returns, and a Best Catch competition will have the first rounds on Thursday as well.

  • Kickoff: 3 p.m. ET

What channel is the Pro Bowl on?

  • TV channel (national): ESPN | ABC | Disney XD
  • Live stream: ESPN app, fuboTV

For Sunday, the Best Catch will have its finals to determine the winners. The Gridiron Gauntlet relay returns, a new Move the Chains game, a return of Kick Tac Toe and then the 7-on-7 Pro Bowl Flage Football Games with the AFC taking on the NFC in the contest.

In all of these competitions, it will be the conferences competing against one another and there will be three points awarded to a player or team’s conference for winning a competition. The Pro Bowl Flag Football Games will be worth six points apiece.

The score from the competitions will then be the starting score for a third and final 7-on-7 flag football game that will use standard flag football scoring. Peyton Manning will coach the AFC while Eli Manning will coach the NFC.

First off, there will be three games featuring seven skill players from each conference facing off. The initial two games will be worth six points for the competition while the third and final game to end the weekend will start with the score from the previous games and skill competitions.

As for the games themselves, it will be 7-on-7 with only skill players and feature a 50-yard field with 10-yard end zones. There is a No Run Zone where teams cannot execute running plays that starts on the opposing 5-yard line.

Meanwhile, the games will be two 10-minute halves for a 20-minute total game that features a 25-second play clock and then a running clock before the final two minutes of each half. The clock will stop, as in the NFL, on incomplete passes, scores, penalties, changes of possession, or obviously timeouts.

As for scoring, touchdowns are still worth six points but the extra-point tries can be for one point or two depending on where the play is run from (no kickers here). The one-point try will be from the 3-yard line while the two-point try will be from the 10-yard line.

Pro Bowl 2023

Pro Bowl 2023: The 2023 Pro Bowl is undergoing a bit of a facelift. After years of diminishing returns with the traditional Pro Bowl, the league has finally opted to change the format of the Pro Bowl, instead opting for a weeks’ worth of games followed by a flag-football matchup between the two conferences.

Pro Bowl 2023 schedule of events

  • Thursday, Feb. 2: Epic Pro Bowl Dodgeball, Lightning Round, Longest Drive, Precision Passing, Best Catch (First Round)
  • Sunday, Feb. 5: Best Catch (Finale), Gridiron Gauntlet, Move the Chains, Kick Tac Toe, Pro Bowl Flag Football Game

Still, Pro Bowl selections remain, despite the more lax approach to this year’s game. The top vote-getters in each conference have already been revealed, with Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa the leading man in either conference. Also joining Tua in Vegas are Los Angeles defensive lineman Aaron Donald and Packers DB Jaire Alexander.

After calls from fans for change for years, the NFL‘s all-star contest will get a facelift at the 2023 Pro Bowl. There will no longer be a listless 60-minute game between the two conferences but, rather, there will be a flag football game featuring a 7-on-7 contest between some of the league’s best who aren’t injured or playing in the Super Bowl.

In addition, there will also be a wide-ranging skills competition between selected competitors who made the Pro Bowl. This should make the entire event, being held now in Las Vegas, quite a bit more fun for the players, for the fans, and really for everyone.

With the new format, fans are sure to be curious how they can watch everything, whether they’re in attendance or watching at home. We’ve got you covered with the Pro Bowl 2023 schedule and the rules you need to know for the contests.
